Comments on Exodwarf planet

[edit]

Hi Yisraelasper,

I saw your comments on the Exodwarf planet article page. I've reverted them because they need to go on the page which is discussing the deletion of the article. Please do add your explanation of why this page (in your opinion) shouldn't be deleted there. Ka Faraq Gatri (talk) 18:16, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Yisraelasper

  • There are two different deletion processes on Wikipedia: first, the proposed deletion - any user can contest the proposed deletion or remove the tag, and the article can only be deleted under this process if nobody challenges the deletion; second, the full deletion debate - if the proposed deletion has already been contested, or if the nominator believes the deletion would be controversial, he can start a full debate, and the page can be deleted if there's a consensus to do so (normally this means about a two-thirds majority, but the debate is not strictly a vote - see How to discuss an AfD and the following sections). (Actually, there's also the third process: the speedy deletion, but it's not relevant here.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 18:49, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Yisraelasper. The result of the discussion was 'delete'. The article you created today was almost identical with the deleted version. Please, do not recreate the article (Extrasolar dwarf planet) and take it to deletion review, if you question the result of the discussion. Thanks for your understanding. --Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 09:01, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Extrasolar Dwarf Planet, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

User has repeatedly submitted this without performing any major changes. They have also re-creating material that was deleted in a deletion discussion, where there was almost overwhelming consensus to delete it.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. A tag has been placed on Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Extrasolar Dwarf Planet requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you. Please stop submitting this to AFC. It was deleted under a different name because it was not notable, and you have submitted it six times, only for it to be rejected each time. The first four declines were the same. The next one said that it didn't provide sufficient context, and the final one said that you continue to submit it. If you continue being disruptive, you will will likely be blocked for this, so I would advise that you stop doing this as it is not helping your argument for the article at the end of the day. If you want to work on any other articles, I am more than willing to help you, but this article is not going to be created as it is not notable.
