Novels

[edit]

Hi I noticed you reverted my edits on a number of Lisa See's novels. Please read over the documentation at Template:Infobox book to learn how the parameters are meant to be used. Preceded and followed by parameters are for books in a series not publishing order, besides most of the articles already mention 'in See's previous novels, et al' so it is not necessary to fill in the parameters with inappropriate information. If you are still interested in adding the novels by publishing order please see about creating another infobox featuring her work. An example of this can be seen on the bottom of pages such as J. R. R. Tolkien and Jodi Picoult. Thanks, --ImGz (t/c) 14:52, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Snow Flower

[edit]

I am curious as to why you deleted the link to the Korean TV series; it uses the same first two words as the name of the Snow Flower book does in its title. When you type in Snow Flower, it redirects there, not here. It is not uncommon for articles on Wikipedia to use "For the ___ with a similar name, see ___" and be linked; look around. I deleted the link because the Korean TV series has absolutely nothing to do with Lisa's novel. Yrral2008 (talk) 14:22, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removing sections

[edit]

Hi, I recently added several section headers to Dreams of Joy‎ because they help with breaking up and distinguishing pieces of information in Wikipedia articles. Currently the quote from See is getting lost amongst plot elements and becoming almost impossible to find (Please see WP:Sections. The case is also true with your very reflective paragraph on the role of the noevel in relationship to the characters, which may be also WP:Original research. I would strongly suggest that you look at how your article is structured in comparison to the recommendation at the page WP:MOS (novels). Please consider adding the sections back as you feel appropriate. Thanks, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Happy editing, Sadads (talk) 16:28, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
