Information icon Hello, I'm Jake Brockman. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral to me, so it has been removed it for now. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 06:41, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Verifiability, Neutrality

[edit]

Dear Yume149, welcome again to Wikipedia. I noticed you made a number of edits over the last days, many of which may be considered as not in the spirit of Wikipedia's guiding principles in terms of neutrality of wording and verifability. I strongly recommend you familiarise yourself with WP:NPOV and WP:CS as well as WP:RS. Please do not reinstate your edit on Lu You as the wording is a non-neutral point-of-view and unsourced. Similarly, I removed unsourced contents on Zhu yaoshan, Hankou and Diana, Princess of Wales. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'm happy to help. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 07:06, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Zhu yaoshan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A vice mayor of an unidentified city? No evidence of notability.

Ah. Garbage I suppose. TRASH IT! Yume149 (talk) 14:32, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Information icon Please do not add defamatory content to Wikipedia, as you did to Lu You, especially if it involves living persons. Please do not use defamatory, vulgar language in change summaries as you did in the article for Lu You. Using such language may result in editing blocks. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 06:19, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Define defamatory CONTENT. IT WAS A TAG LIKE A SLUG, you don't like it, remove the slug

I suggest you look at the article about Defamation for the definition. When I look at this diff and the s-word you used referring to Wendi Deng Murdoch, that certainly qualifies. I have also removed your addition to that article about her source of income. Again, as unsourced, it can constitute libel. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 06:50, 27 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

A page you created has been nominated for deletion as an attack page, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

Do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject or any other entity. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing. TonyBallioni (talk) 00:23, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Yu Dan (writer), without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 14:33, 11 June 2017 (UTC) Please do not rename pages without good reason. Also, as pointed out before, do not use potentially libellous language when making edit summaries, as you did with Yu Dan (writer) and Yu Dan (academic) and Yu Dan. Wikpedia is not the place to publicly critizise the credentials of a university scholar, even if you disagree with the person's work, rightly or wrongly. Also, please always use English, which is the language of this version of Wikipedia. Thanks. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 14:38, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
