Lost Wood Brothers Picture
Not sure if you can help, but uploaded a picture of Eddie and Len Wood for the Wood Brothers Racing page...I guess I didn't attach into the page and it won't let me re-upload... Rob Street (talk) 03:15, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
- @Rob Street: I'm assuming you're talking about File:Nascar 03.06.15 378.JPG? I just added it to Wood Brothers Racing#Sprint Cup Series since the lower sections are pretty cluttered with images. Zappa24Mati 03:30, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
Your Fast LOL!!
My picture on Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s page should be on the paragraph of 2014 instead '15 but I have no clue how to move it...in the same vein the pic I attached to Hendrick Motorsports of the pit crew member probably should be towards the bottom of the #24 "History" instead of on top of the "Rainbow Car". I don't want to make somebody upset... Rob Street (talk) 03:46, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
- @Rob Street: Sorry for the delay, but noted. If you want to move the image, look for the sections titled (for example)
==2014==
and move the picture down there. Also, if you're worried about making people upset, be bold and just do it, especially if no one really sees it to be a problem. NFLisAwesome (ZappaOMati) 19:22, 11 January 2016 (UTC)

Sword Art Online
Hey Zappa, would you mind if I made some changes (basically just content expansion) to User:ZappaOMati/Sinon (Sword Art Online) and User:ZappaOMati/Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization? Or I can just give you some sources, though I guess they're not too hard to find. Or I can just get lost, lol.
Was thinking of starting an article on Hollow Realization then found out you already had one going. Satellizer el Bridget (Talk) 08:16, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Satellizer: Go right ahead and work on them if you want. NFLisAwesome (ZappaOMati) 17:22, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks! Satellizer el Bridget (Talk) 01:43, 16 April 2016 (UTC)
- I've heavily expanded Sinon's reception section. The "Character" or "Story" sections may need a tad bit more info but personally I find it to be ready for mainspace. :) Satellizer el Bridget (Talk) 12:16, 16 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Satellizer: The GGO portion of the Story section definitely could use some more fleshing out first, so I'll probably move it sometime once I finish it up. Thanks for the work on the reception section, though, it looks great! Zappa24Mati 14:11, 16 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Satellizer: Alright, I just finished up the Story section, and I think it looks pretty good. I've been tempted to write in the video game canon as an "In other media" subsection like you see in most other character articles, especially considering how different Sinon (and Leafa)'s stories are in those games compared to actual canon. Otherwise, I'll probably move it into mainspace sometime tomorrow once I put in some finishing touches. Zappa24Mati 04:12, 17 April 2016 (UTC)

Good news: Sinon (Sword Art Online) has (finally) been created. Just a heads-up, I've made some additions to your Hollow Realization draft and may do a bit more if I have time. Satellizer el Bridget (Talk) 08:34, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Satellizer: Looks like Czar's back at it again at Talk:Sinon (Sword Art Online), so if you're down to tackle that issue as well as the one I saw at the Code Register page... Zappa24Mati 16:37, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
Hollow Realization seems to be mostly done too, I can't seem to find much more sources. I'll leave it up to you when you'll move it to mainspace. Satellizer el Bridget (Talk) 08:39, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Satellizer: Since it's still early, I'll probably wait until an official release date is given, since more sources will most likely appear after that. Zappa24Mati 16:37, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
- Sure, no worries. Thanks for the heads-up at Talk:Sinon (Sword Art Online), I've asked him to stop with the POINT-y messages and nominate the article for AfD if he wants to delete, so keep your eyes peeled if that happens. Not the first time such content disputes have happened. Thanks again, Satellizer el Bridget (Talk) 01:59, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

Idiots like you should stick to raising their pet fish - even if it is dead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.211.126.51 (talk) 14:17, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
- Huh? NFLisAwesome (ZappaOMati) 15:14, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
- Wait a second, how am I supposed to raise a dead fish if dead bodies usually rise to the surface? You can't raise a corpse further than the surface unless you're removing it from the body of water. NFLisAwesome (ZappaOMati) 15:42, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
Question
Between the 2016 Thunder and the 2015 Clippers, whose collapse do you think was more devastating. I am referring to playoffs tell me whose collapse was worst between 2016 Thunder and 2015 Clippers. Feel free to move this thread down if you like. --74.129.140.210 (talk) 18:30, 18 June 2016 (UTC)
- I'm probably just letting my bias get in the way, but I'd say the Clippers. The Thunder's collapse was bad, but it was against a team that went 73–9. The fact that the Thunder was even able to win three games against such a dominant team is impressive, so it's not a surprise that the Warriors were able to win. Zappa24Mati 23:57, 18 June 2016 (UTC)
- The Warriors just choked so whose collapse out of the 3 was the most devastating:
- 2015 Clippers (against HOU)
- 2016 Thunder against 73 win GSW
- 2016 Warriors against CLE in NBA finals
- want to ask you again to make sure. --107.77.234.149 (talk) 05:05, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's probably the Warriors now, especially considering how heavily favored they were entering the Finals. Momentum just shifted in Cleveland's favor starting with Game 3. Having the best record in the sport and losing in the playoffs seems to be a common trend nowadays (2007 Pats, 2001 Mariners, 95-96 Red Wings)... NFLisAwesome (ZappaOMati) 15:06, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
- If OKC resigns KD what's your prediction for the 2016-17 Thunder (including playoffs)? How did OKC collapse like this? Who would you blame for blowing a 3-1 deficit to 73 win GSW? --107.77.234.149 (talk) 16:42, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
- I'm still optimistic for the future, regardless of whether or not Durant is resigned. It's just way too early to predict how the 2016–17 season would go, especially with free agency and the draft not having even started yet. Not many people expected the Thunder would even make it this far into the playoffs; I wouldn't really blame anyone for blowing that 3–1 lead, though. It's a team sport, and if there's anyone to blame, everyone gets a chunk of it. As I said, the Warriors are a great team, and they were bound to fight back. NFLisAwesome (ZappaOMati) 17:33, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
- Have you been to a OKC game before, playoff game or regular season game for example? I would love going to a playoff OKC game at the Peake. Have you been to the Peake before Zappa? --107.77.234.149 (talk) 18:13, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
- Being I live in California, I can't really attend any Thunder games, but I'd love to in the future. From what I've heard, the atmosphere there is one of the best in the NBA. NFLisAwesome (ZappaOMati) 18:39, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
- [1] Do you know who the girl in dark blue and skirts/shorts is? She is so pretty I ain't gonna lie and I have seen videos of thunder games and she was in 2016 OKC playoff home games. Do you know what her name is? --107.77.234.149 (talk) 19:23, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, that might be stressing my knowledge a little too much. As much as I know about the team and the players' backgrounds, I know absolutely nothing about the fans and their backgrounds. Sorry. Zappa24Mati 01:30, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- Ugh! That girl looks so cute. Do you agree? She does look pretty doesn't she? You know which one I mean? How did you felt after your Sharks lost to the finals?Where you really heartbroken and was your feeling about it how Packers fans felt after Seattle NFC title game? How did you felt? Have you been to a sharks game? What's 5 NBA and hockey teams you hate the most? --107.77.234.149 (talk) 03:31, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- She's pretty far away, so I can't really say too much, to be honest, but I do see who you're referring to. Her, correct? Anyway, to answer your question about the Sharks, it hurts, but being it was the furthest the team's reached ever, I can't say I'm too disappointed. I've never been to a Sharks game before, unfortunately, and as for your last question... I don't really have any teams in particular that I hate, but in terms of teams I dislike, most of the rivals (LA Kings for Sharks, for example) fill those slots. Zappa24Mati 03:59, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- Yes that's the girl. How do you think she felt after game 6? I like Splash Brothers but however, I HATE the Warriors. Do you hate GSW? I call them the Overrated State Warriors. I hate them and the Blazers more than the Spurs. Blazers and Thunder are rivals since they play in the same division that's another slot. Do you hate the Blazers too? I would love if you tweet KD to stay if you can because I want to win a championship and he should not pay anywhere else except OKC. KD plays for a contender don't you agree? OKC is a contender. KD should stay. --107.77.234.149 (talk) 04:38, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- I'd say she probably felt the same way all Thunder fans felt: Like Sharks fans after they surrendered that 3–0 lead in the playoffs a few years ago, but slightly reduced since (as I mentioned) the Warriors were the best team in the league. Being I live in Warriors territory, I can't really say I hate the Warriors without getting crucified eventually, but it's more of a mutual dislike. I'd love to see Durant stay, but as I have learned, nothing is guaranteed. He'll stay if he wants to, and leave if he wants to. NFLisAwesome (ZappaOMati) 15:16, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- Thunder-Blazers rivalry is a good example to be in slot and a dislike. Who did Sharks choked a 3-0 lead against? Don't you feel Thunder-Warriors 2016 WCF was like Seahawks-Packers 2014 NFC Championship? --107.77.234.149 (talk) 15:25, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- Sharks lost against the Kings, and the rivalry between the two is usually a pretty heated one, so the Sharks winning the rematch in this year's playoffs was probably one of the sweetest moments. The Thunder/Warriors series definitely felt like the Packers/Seahawks game, though the Sharks/Kings one felt pretty similar as well. NFLisAwesome (ZappaOMati) 15:32, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- Where you and the Sharks fans feeling the same way Packers fans felt after Seattle? Which NFL playoff game do you think Thunder Spurs felt like? --107.77.234.149 (talk) 15:43, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- Definitely, maybe even worse. It hurts to lose in the playoffs, but it hurts even more when you blow such a lead, and even worse when it's against a rival. I'd say the Thunder/Spurs series felt like the Redskins/Bears divisional round in 1986. As a whole, the Thunder's 2015–16 postseason felt like Washington's 1986 playoff record: Both teams won easily in the first round, upset a dominant team in the next, before losing to the top team in the league in the conference championship. NFLisAwesome (ZappaOMati) 15:53, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- Are you going to be crying emotionally happy when OKC wins the finals? Have you got to follow KD or Westbrook on Twitter? Since you live in San Jose, you might want to go to a Sharks game. --107.77.234.149 (talk) 18:26, 21 June 2016 (UTC)

- Wow, this discussion surprisingly went a lot deeper than I expected. But yeah, I have a Twitter for this type of conversation, so it's probably best to use that instead. Zappa24Mati 00:34, 22 June 2016 (UTC)

- I understand what you mean but I just want to ask ZappaOMati if he was going to get emotionally happy if OKC wins a title. I just want him to see it but thanks for telling us. Zappa, would you get emotional if OKC wins (like crying happy)? --107.77.234.149 (talk) 21:57, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- I know what you mean about Twitter. You can hate the Warriors. I can give you an example like some guy on Twitter is a Jags fan in Houston but hates the Texans you don't have to like the team in your state, Bay Area. Are a lot of people you see are Sharks, Overrated State Warriors, OKC Thunder, and Packer fans. Do you follow KD and Westbrook on Twitter I understand wiki isn't a forum but just want to know. --107.77.234.149 (talk) 01:15, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
- Alright, hopefully these are the last questions here (create a Twitter account if you don't have one and join the conversation there), but most people I know are fans of the Bay Area teams and a few other teams like the Packers, Patriots and Thunder. And yes, I follow Durant and Westbrook. Zappa24Mati 01:33, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
- I will close this out by saying take care Zappa and good luck with whatever your doing. Sorry if I made this too long but I just couldn't stop talkin. Try to tweet KD to stay if you want since I think the fans love him (you saw how OKC was in 2014-15 when KD got hurt). Again, I'm sorry if I made this conservation long. I will close out by saying good night and take care Zappa. Wish you the best. --107.77.234.149 (talk) 05:04, 22 June 2016 (UTC)

- Look at them haters on Facebook we will have a better defense if we resign KD don't you agree Zappa? Do you think OKC gonna be dangerous?--107.77.234.24 (talk) 02:18, 24 June 2016 (UTC)

Kevin Durant
Hey ZappaOMati, could you reply to this message and tell me if you think Kevin Durant will stay. Do you think in your opinion Kevin Durant will stay in OKC? I heard there is a 90% chance he is staying. But careful though, the Warriors are a serious threat to steal him away. I see his decision either staying in OKC or going to the Overrated State Warriors. Could you please tell me what you think Kevin Durant will do? Thanks! --107.77.233.162 (talk) 05:29, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
- Zappa, could you please reply how come you don't reply to talkpage messages anymore? Could you please tell me if you think KD will stay? Thanks! --2607:FCC8:BC8B:6DF0:9481:62F1:DD3F:4B97 (talk) 03:08, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
- I do, but I had previously mentioned, I have social media for these types of questions. Wikipedia isn't a forum for this type of talk. Anyway, to answer your question, I'll just say what I have said: Hopefully. Zappa24Mati 03:31, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
- Also, this is not an appropriate way of notifying me, and will be considered disruptive editing. I apologize for the harsh statement, but it is not acceptable. Zappa24Mati 03:32, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
- If KD stays you should go on Twitter and react to it. I know this is not a forum but I just feel like asking for you to predict. Do you know the Warriors are a serious threat of getting KD? --2607:FCC8:BC8B:6DF0:9481:62F1:DD3F:4B97 (talk) 03:35, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
ZappaOMati
@ZappaOMati: How do you think OKC will be in 2016-17? If Kevin Durant brings a championship to GSW would he do the same in OKC? I want Durant to return to OKC once he bring a championship to the Warriors! Again ZappaOMati I know Wikipedia is not a forum but could you please answer me those questions. Thanks! --2607:FCC8:BC8B:6DF0:1599:FF0B:6C48:8D3D (talk) 22:05, 4 July 2016 (UTC)

- Seriously, buddy, this is getting annoying, and I'm not even the one you're interrogating. Either talk to him on Twitter or don't talk to him at all. --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 19:35, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
And now, as for a legitimate message...
It's me, Ben (the former "Bentvfan54321"), under a new username. I changed it because I wanted to have all my online accounts be universally known by the same name. So don't worry, I'm still here, even though my production has dropped off a bit :) --Bcschneider53 (talk) 13:00, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
- Well, it's gonna take a while to get used to that name, but at least you have a reason for the 53 instead of just random numbers like 54321. Zappa24Mati 17:00, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, not sure what I was thinking with that string...also, Z105space appears to be on the same path. Stay tuned for that too... --Bcschneider53 (talk) 18:57, 7 July 2016 (UTC)

Question about OKC
How do you think the 2016-17 Thunder will be this year? Just want to know what you think! --71.29.154.42 (talk) 23:11, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
What's up Zappa!
@ZappaOMati: which articles are you planning on expanding tonight or today? --107.77.232.220 (talk) 17:08, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
- Well, it's raceday, and Eldora is always a fun one to watch, so depending on how this race goes, we might see a driver get his own Wikipedia page like Christopher Bell did last year. Zappa24Mati 17:11, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
- How long though Zap? What's your favorite speedway? Have you been to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee or Gatlinburg, Tennessee? PF has several go karts there. @ZappaOMati: what's the name of the race? --107.77.232.220 (talk) 17:18, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
- Truck races are usually 2 hours or so. This one, the Aspen Dental Eldora Dirt Derby, is a unique case since there's heat races. No, I haven't been to Tennessee, and there's quite a number of speedways I like: Daytona, Sonoma, Watkins Glen, COTA.... Zappa24Mati 17:27, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
- @ZappaOMati: your awesome man! Between the Sharks, Thunder, and Bears which team are you more excited to watch playing this year? --107.77.232.220 (talk) 18:34, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
About my first edit
@ZappaOMati: could you please take a look at here and tell me what you think? You can fix any problems there and try making it better. Could you please add a welcome message on my talkpage. Thanks! --ThunderFan109 (Thunder Up!) 02:50, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
- @ThunderFan109: It's a good start so far, especially for a first edit! The main concern, though, would be sourcing. You've already provided one, so you seem to know what you're doing regarding that. I would try to provide more reliable sources to each fact to ensure verifiability. Zappa24Mati 01:31, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
I added 3 sources. @ZappaOMati: you are an awesome wikipedian bro. I am glad I love OKC like you. You really should add a welcome post on my talkpage that will be more awesome. Once you reply about how I did on the section can I ask you a question? --ThunderFan109 (Thunder Up!) 02:47, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
- @ThunderFan109: I think you did fine on it. Obviously there is some room for improvement, but hey, we were all new to this at some point. Anyway, what's the question? Zappa24Mati 03:41, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
@ZappaOMati: do you think KD is taking the Lebron James route of winning a championship? Is his situation similar to Lebron James in 2010? I saw it mentioned people comparing it to his on OKC's wiki page. You can feel free to improve and correct what I wrote to make it more better. How do you think the Thunder record will be this year? --ThunderFan109 (Thunder Up!) 04:07, 23 July 2016 (UTC)

@ZappaOMati: have you signed a petition before? I want to know because I want to tell you when you reply. Thanks! ThunderFan109 (Thunder Up!) 23:33, 25 July 2016 (UTC)

DYK for J. R. Heffner
On 30 July 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article J. R. Heffner, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that race car driver J. R. Heffner is his sponsor's vice president of operations? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/J. R. Heffner. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, J. R. Heffner), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hello ZappaOMati. I recently nominated the article Allen Walker to FA in Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Allen Walker/archive1. Sword Art Online
Hey, I'm thinking of bringing Sword Art Online to Good Article status, possibly even Featured Article status. Given your authorship of articles on the series' characters, do you have any tips on how I can improve the article, and could you suggest some sources I could use in beefing up the article? I was referred here by Tintor2. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 14:03, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- Oh yeah. It was me since I noted how kept adding creation info to the characters of the article. I never bought a light novel, but I guess they add information from creator. The article might require a creation section to see if it can become GA. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 14:56, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Narutolovehinata5 and Tintor2: Well, I'm not the only one who's added content to it. Satellizer's done most of the bulk work on the character articles so I think he can lend a better hand to the article. For anything that might need sourcing from the light novels and anime, I can provide them pretty easily since I have the Project Alicization novels and some friends who can probably help out there. The Settings section definitely needs expansion (or at least some sourcing since the settings were removed for a lack of them). I'll see if I can chip in some support as well. Invitation to the African Destubathon
Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:14, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
New Page Reviewer granted
Hello ZappaOMati. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group, allowing you to review new pages and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or in some cases, tag them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is a vital function for policing the quality of the encylopedia, if you have not already done so, you must read the new tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the various deletion criteria.
- Be nice to new users - they are often not aware of doing anything wrong.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted - be formal and polite in your approach to them too, even if they are not.
- Don't review a page if you are not sure what to do. Just leave it for another reviewer.
- Remember that quality is quintessential to good patrolling. Take your time to patrol each article, there is no rush. Use the message feature and offer basic advice.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In case of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, the right can be revoked at any time by an administrator.
Administrator note You have been grandfathered to this group based on prior patrolling activity - the technical flag for the group will be added to your account after the next software update. You do not need to apply at WP:PERM. 20:56, 28 October 2016 (UTC)

WikiProject Good Articles's 2016-2017 GA Cup
Greetings, all! We would like to announce the start of the 4th GA Cup, a competition that seeks to encourage the reviewing of Good article nominations! Thus far, there have been three GA Cups, which were successful in reaching our goals of significantly reducing the traditionally long queue at GAN, so we're doing it again. Currently, there are over 400 nominations listed. We hope that we can again make an impact this time. The 4th GA Cup will begin on November 1, 2016. Four rounds are currently scheduled (which will bring the competition to a close on February 28, 2017), but this may change based on participant numbers. We may take a break in December for the holidays, depending on the results of a poll of our participants taken shortly after the competition begins. The sign-up and submissions process will remain the same, as will the scoring. Sign-ups for the upcoming competition are currently open and will close on November 14, 2016. Everyone is welcome to join; new and old editors, so sign-up now! If you have any questions, take a look at the FAQ page and/or contact one of the judges. Cheers from 3family6, Figureskatingfan, Jaguar, MrWooHoo, and Zwerg Nase. We apologize for the delay in sending out this message until after the competition has started. Thank you to Krishna Chaitanya Velaga for aiding in getting this message out. To subscribe or unsubscribe to future GA Cup newsletters, please add or remove your name to our mailing list. If you are a participant, you will be on the mailing list no matter what as this is the easiest way to communicate between all participants.

Chase Elliott's Darn Truck One-off
So... two of my edits got reverted, by experienced editors, who insist it was Hendrick, not JR or Contreras (this one and this one). While I want to believe them, at the same time, I think we need more proof than a couple of editors who insist "we saw the truck sitting in the shop." Any suggestions for what I should do here? --Bcschneider53 (talk) 00:11, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Bcschneider53: What a mess. I know it's not JRM, but the truck is leased from the JRM shop. Other sources like Foxsports and the Wilson County News say Contreras. I believe the truck (and the team as a whole) had HMS equipment, but it ran under the Contreras banner. It's the same case as Josh Berry being listed as driving for Contreras at Chicago earlier this year even though it's JRM-built. NFLisAwesome (ZappaOMati) 17:51, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
- Hmm... so are you saying we should go back to writing Contreras in Elliott's results table? --Bcschneider53 (talk) 22:15, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Bcschneider53: I'd say yes, personally, but we could always take it to WT:NASCAR for further input. Zappa24Mati 23:39, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

Hello ZappaOMatic.
Based on the patrols you made of new pages during a qualifying period in 2016, your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
If you need more help or wish to discuss the process, please join or start a thread at page reviewer talk.
MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:34, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Duck Commander 500 logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

New Page Review - newsletter
- Breaking the back of the backlog
If each reviewer does only 10 reviews a day over five days, the backlog will be down to zero and the daily input can then be processed by each reviewer doing only 2 or 3 reviews a day - that's about 5 minutes work!
Let's get that over and done with in time to relax for the holidays.
- Second set of eyes
Not only are New Page Reviewers the guardians of quality of new articles, they are also in a position to ensure that pages are being correctly tagged for deletion and maintenance and that new authors are not being bitten. This is an important feature of your work. Read about it at the new Monitoring the system section in the tutorial.
- Getting the tools we need - 2016 WMF Wishlist Survey: Please vote
With some tweaks to their look, and some additional features, Page Curation and New Pages Feed could easily be the best tools for patrollers and reviewers. We've listed most of what what we need at the 2016 WMF Wishlist Survey. Voting starts on 28 November - please turn out to make our bid the Foundation's top priority. Please help also by improving or commenting on our Wishlist entry at the Community Wishlist Survey. Many other important user suggestions are listed at at Page Curation.

Noah Gragson incorrect photo
Hey...is there anyway that you can fix the main photo on Noah Gragson's page...that picture is not him. I added my photo from the LV Bullring this Spring that you can use in his "Media' Picture file but couldn't figure out how to replace the picture on the actual page. Rob — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rob Street (talk • contribs) 23:39, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
- I can fix it, but I'll have to make sure the picture in the infobox really is him or not. Since Royalbroil took it, maybe he can provide some confirmation before I go ahead with swapping the picture. Zappa24Mati 00:00, 8 December 2016 (UTC)
- I wasn't sure so I'm glad it got swapped. I'm look to see if I can find a reason to delete the photograph that I took. Thank you. Royalbroil 04:13, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

WikiCup December newsletter: WikiCup 2017
On 1 January 2017, WikiCup 2017 (the 10th Annual WikiCup) will begin. This year we are trying something a little different – monetary prizes.
For the WC2017 the prizes will be as follows (amounts are based in US$ and will be awarded in the form of an online Amazon gift certificate):
- First place – $200
- Second & Third place – $50 each
- Category prizes – $25 per category (which will be limited to FA, FL, FP, GA, and DYK for 2017). Winning a category prize does not require making it to the final round.
Note: Monetary prizes are a one-year experiment for 2017 and may or may not be continued in the future. In order to be eligible to receive any of the prizes above, the competing Wikipedia account must have a valid/active email address.
After two years as a WikiCup judge, Figureskatingfan is stepping down. We thank her for her contributions as a WikiCup judge. We are pleased to announce that our newest judge is two-time WikiCup champion Cwmhiraeth.
The judges for the 2017 WikiCup are Godot13 (talk · contribs · email), Cwmhiraeth (talk · contribs), and Sturmvogel 66 (talk · contribs · email).
Signups are open now and will remain open until 5 February 2017. You can sign up here.

DYK for Josh White (racing driver)
On 15 December 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Josh White (racing driver), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Josh White is a NASCAR driver and a member of the United States Marine Corps? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Josh White (racing driver). You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Josh White (racing driver)), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
