The image is not in public domain solely by virtue of not having a copyright notice on the website from where you have downloaded it. The website is not the creator of the image, either; do you know where it came for real? (It might be a movie screenshot.) See the image use policy; since Olive Brasno died in 1998, there is a fairly good case for a fair use claim. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 07:14, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
- Likewise, File:George Brasno Photograph.jpg is in all likelihood not in public domain. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 07:15, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for correcting the copyright status of the Olive Brasno image; however, you need to correct the George Brasno image as well. (You don't really need to re-upload the file, just visit the image description page of File:George Brasno Photograph.jpg, edit it and replace the image copyright tag. (You can start by editing the image description page from File:Olive Brasno Image.jpg and copying the tag from there.)
- I may have found out where the image is from! I have used Google "search by image", and found this page - it may be the character "Colonel Tim" from Charlie Chan at the Circus. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 05:04, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
