If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 19:37, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

planned edits

[edit]

My planned edit for the Cruelty Squad wikipedia page is to add this content as a subsection of the article. Currently a lot of the information is in the Development tab, which I'm not sure why as currently the development tab is 20% talking about the development of Cruelty Squad, and the other 80% is talking about what Vallie Kallio did before Cruelty Squad.

Previous works

[edit]

Before the release of Cruelty Squad Ville Kallio’s artistic works consisted of installation pieces, comics, video art, and gallery pieces. Notable museums he has exhibited include Futura, Prague. Many of these previous artworks contain allusions to video games, as well as many ideas that would later become parts of Cruelty Squad. In interviews Ville Callio said this about his gallery works: “It never really felt like more than just a weird hobby, placing objects in a space that maybe a couple hundred people would visit at best. I didn’t have a professional artist identity when it came to this, just seemed like a thing that would never end up going anywhere. I’ve enjoyed meeting new people and hanging out at openings.” [1]

Other than gallery pieces, Ville Kallio produced many video projects before the release of Cruelty Squad such as Adversalife and Venmo Combat. Additionally he worked on comics such as HYPERPRISONINDUSTRIAL and CORRIDORSPACE.
