The WWE Crown Jewel Championship is an upcoming professional wrestling championship created and promoted by the American promotion WWE, which will be defended annually at each Crown Jewel professional wrestling event.
History
[edit]At Bad Blood on October 5, 2024, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque unveiled the new WWE Crown Jewel Championship, which will be defended at each Crown Jewel event, and announced that the inaugural champion will be determined at Crown Jewel on November 2, 2024, after WWE World Champion Gunther faces Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Neither of the titleholders' championships will be defended during the match, and the loser will retain their respective championship.[1]
