Discussion
[edit]- Seeing as it's not entirely clear exactly what the 'bookshelves' will look like/comprise, could you create an example/test bookshelf in the bot's (or your) userspace? Richard0612 11:10, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes. I'll do this. --He!ko (talk) 06:08, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I let the bot create a bookshelf based on the list of community books. --He!ko (talk) 14:50, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes. I'll do this. --He!ko (talk) 06:08, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Is there a relationship between the accounts He!ko (talk · contribs) and Volker.haas (talk · contribs)? Why did BücherBot blank Volker.haas' user page? Wronkiew (talk) 00:00, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes Volker is my coworker and used his user page as a sandbox, thereby it was assigned to a wrong category. I hot-fixed this using the wrong BücherBot acccount and even forgot to provide a message. --He!ko (talk) 06:08, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Also, BücherBot does not have a bot flag on this wiki. Wronkiew (talk) 00:02, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- It has a bot flag on de.wp [1]. --He!ko (talk) 06:08, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Added some comments here, on an exception page and allow for a specific bookshelf on Wikipedia-oriented books. Cenarium (talk) 16:36, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
One more clarification: The bot would not touch any existing pages. It rather creates pages at a dedicated space like currently User:He!ko/Bookshelf/* --He!ko (talk)
- Looks pretty uncontroversial, I'm going to wait a day or two just to be sure, but I think I will be approving (or anyone else can who beats me here). MBisanz talk 08:19, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Approved. Already approved on other wikis, part of the WMF PediaPress project, no objections. MBisanz talk 09:03, 9 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
