Operator: Multichill
Automatic or Manually assisted: Automatic
Programming language(s): Python (pywikipedia)
Source code available: Simple script based on pywikipedia
Function overview: Timestamp images in Category:User-created public domain images
Links to relevant discussions (where appropriate): I've cleaned the category back in July 2010 because Smackbot stopped doing it. Forgot about it. Noticed the category again and cleaned it out again. Someone pointed out that I forgot to get approval for this specific task
Edit period(s): I'll probably schedule it to run on a daily basis to prevent the category from flooding again.
Estimated number of pages affected: Depends on the number of new uploads. I think the category collected about 3000 images in 6 months. Couple per day?
Exclusion compliant (Y/N): Y
Already has a bot flag (Y/N): Y
Function details: Timestamp the images in Category:User-created public domain images so that that category only contains subcategories. multichill (talk) 20:06, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
