Discussion
[edit]DFBot has been dormant for years and its original approval predates this process. I've recently decided to revive it in order to gather highly needed performance data regarding the abuse filter. To do this it will edit exactly one page. Currently it is set to update twice an hour, though depending on need that might end up being adjusted to 3 or 4 times an hour. The data is necessary to help locate abuse filter problems that can cause user-visible performance issues. Dragons flight (talk) 08:23, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- PS. The format of the report is something of a work in progress. Dragons flight (talk) 08:25, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Given the nature of abuse filter, I've Speedily Approved this. I would ask DF to consult with Werdna over the optimal timing of posting to avoid overextending system resources (I doubt it, but it is worth checking) from rapid querying and posting. MBisanz talk 08:36, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
