Discussion
[edit]Are you going to create a separate account to run the bot on? The bot policy states that any bot needs it's own account. Otherwise it looks okay to me. Regards, MacMedtalkstalk 22:33, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes, this Bot has its own account: Deadendmarker. Hope this helps, Jamietw (talk) 06:06, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- {{BAGAssistanceNeeded}} Well that was silly of me. Looks alright to me, just need a BAG member to take a look. Regards, MacMedtalkstalk 20:01, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Please don't tag 1 day old BRFA with BAGAssistanceNeeded. Per guidelines: "If you feel that your request is being overlooked (no BAG attention for ~1 week) you can add {{BAG assistance needed}} to the page." — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 20:29, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- To clarify, you will review every edit the bot makes? Will this task be applicable to very short articles as well? Are you certain there will be no false positives? — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 20:29, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- I have ran the code without making edits and so far I have not seen any false positives, will certainly review the first few thousand edits and after that if I am sure it seems reliable I might downgrade that to most articles. Nevertheless, all of the bot's runs will be manually started. The bot is also programmed to leave stubs untouched.Jamietw (talk) 03:07, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Speedily Approved. Previously approved task and the user has done this already. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 07:04, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
