Function Details: I plan on doing a major cleanup and restructuring of various categories using Pattonbot, to make them much more consistent, eaiser to use and logical. Could you be more specific about what you mean by recategorizing pages? All we talking about simply renaming existing categories or something else? --ThaddeusB (talk) 15:21, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What I am trying to get at is: how the bot will know which categories to add to which pages? Renaming is straight forward enough, but replaces unrelated to a rename and adding categories are not. --ThaddeusB (talk) 16:42, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Seems this is going to just be a semi-automated category adder/remover/modifier. Nothing too special, eligible for AWB Bot status (and possibly flagging).
