- Also, obviously, if the page already contains the template in question, it will skip that page. I have yet to write the code, but, will likely do so tonight. SQLQuery me! 21:18, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Discussion
[edit]- Approved for trial (50 edits). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. - Have fun! —Reedy Boy 21:37, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
- Completed the trial. There were a few bad edits at first... I was rushing to get it ready before work, and, the result was two things: (1) I was 15 mins late for work, and (2) sloppy, bad code.
- You can find the logged results at User:SXT-404Bot/tagem.log. I went beyond the categories I said that I would, because there was not enough to be changed in them to complete the trial. I'll be finishing the posted request, if approved. SQLQuery me! 06:49, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
- Also. I accidentally exceeded the requested edits per min. I accidentally removed the sleep() call, in sxPostPage(), while testing the framework. Bug was fixed in this revision.SQLQuery me! 07:02, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
- Just a note, this bot has been renamed to User:SQLBot. SQLQuery me! 08:38, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
- There were some concerns raised on my talkpage about the bot not putting tags in existing {{WikiProjectBannerShell}} templates. Granted it's after my run, but, I got it fixed, see test here, in this revision to the bot's code. SQLQuery me! 21:17, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

- Would it be possible for me to get another trial, say... 25 edits, to make sure I have the banner shell thing nailed down (and, the epm thing) SQLQuery me! 07:18, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks, Cobi! Second trial completed (and, slightly exceeded) SQLQuery me! 08:22, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- Oh no. We're gonna have to block the bot for that ;) —Reedy Boy 21:44, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- D'oh! :( SQLQuery me! 09:39, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- Approved. The edits do look quite good and looking through the contributions, there seems to be no errors this time round. The bot shall run with a flag - good luck. — E talkBAG 09:43, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
