Oppose Vignetting of individual frames causes the sky to appear slightly uneven. The image suffers from severe oversharpening around harsh transitions, and disturbing image noise in the sky. The horizon seems to be slightly uneven, as it dips downwards at around 1/6 of the way from the left side of the image more than would be expected, although I'm not sure since I am not familiar with the topography of the region. This has to be a frequently photographed location and I am certain that people will have (or have taken) far superior pictures. Purpy Pupple (talk) 09:34, 14 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Weak oppose It's almost impossible to pick out one really outstanding picture among the hundred or so images in commons:Category:Monument Valley. I would suggest File:Monument valley ArM.jpg as a lovely simple composition, or File:Monument Valley Sunset MC.jpg or File:Desert121.jpg (a bit small) for mood lighting. If it has to be a panorama of this location, I'd favour File:Monument valley panoramic.jpg over the current candidate in spite (or perhaps because) of the visitor's facility being visible in fg.
