I would like to see a better photo of this church and school. The majority of this photo consists of sky, freeway, frontage road, and parking lot.   - The image is published under a GFDL license - It is allowed to modify it. You can crop the image yourself with an image editor and upload the new image to Wikipedia (or better yet Wikimedia commons). Speedy keep - Context is provided in the article. This image is Frusciante's Mar Vista Junior High School yearbook photo, and his time in Mar Vista is commented on extensively. Furthermore, the image provides a valuable and irreplaceable glimpse of who Frusciante was during this time, and thus contributes significantly to the article. A free image of Frusciante as a child would also be virtually impossible to attain. The image has also been scaled down to low resolution, and doesn't impede the copyright holder's ability to market this image and thus doesn't infringe upon WP:NFCC#2. See Bob Dylan or Kurt Cobain for precedented examples of how copyrighted images of youth improve the quality of an article (it should be noted the Dylan image is proposed for deletion due to being uploaded to Commons and not to the English Wikipedia with an appropriate copyright tag). In summation, deletion of this image would significantly decrease the quality of John Frusciante, and doesn't infringe upon any copyright. Grim 22:39, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
