Stanford University and the Wikipedia community celebrate Wikipedia Day: Wikipedia's turning 18 years old! Join us on January 15, 2019, at the Stanford University campus, in a celebration of 18 years of free and open knowledge. No editing experience is needed!
Event details
[edit]- Date: Tuesday, January 15, 2019
- Time: 5:00–8:30pm (doors open 4:45pm)
- Participation: Participation (food, pizza, snacks, cake!) will be free!
- Welcome: All are welcome. We are especially interested in seeing newcomers to join the experienced Wikipedians/Wikimedians. (You do not need to be a Stanford University student to attend.)
- Livestream: Zoom conference
- If you live in the Bay Area and transportation to the event presents a financial burden, contact Kevin – we may be able to offer you reimbursement for local travel.
