Created in May; we already have Template:Infobox French communate (the correct spelling would be communauté). eh bien mon prince (talk) 17:44, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Given that the existing template is misspelled it is hardly surprising that I did not discover its existence. How about deleting communaute and renaming the existing one either as the French spelling communauté or - I think better - the English community? Very few transclusions. I think the idea is to support direct import from the German Wikipedia. It can be replaced by {{Infobox military unit}}. It certainly can be orphaned. As the original "creator" I am happy for this to become a front end for {{Infobox military unit}} as has been done with other similar templates That way, it works with the German parameters when an editor first copies it across. It can then be overwritten by {{Infobox military unit}} by anyone at leisure. Whoever does this, needs to double check there is a read across from each German parameter to an English one. I think most of them are fine, but not sure the English template caters fully for Streitkräfte/Armed forces, Teilstreitkräfte/Service, Gliederung/Org structure, Unterstellte-Einheiten/Subordinate units and Teil von/Part of [superior fmn].
