Do you know, that some disabilities are invisible? On superficial look they cannot be seen. Yet they impact life to a significant degree. Different kind of chronic illness, neurodevelopmental conditions like autism, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, developmental coordination disorders etc. fall in this category. Also different kind of mental disorders belong this. These disabilities may affect sensory, emotional, cognitive and emotional aspects of life. These conditions are often misinterpreted by public (such as being considered as 'lazy' or 'aloof' etc) due to the misunderstanding. It is very important to include and accept persons with mainstream life with all kind of support and disability rights. (Full article...)

  • Reasons for nomination: Hidden disabilities are heavily ignored topic in the society yet it takes toll of the affected person's life which can be eased with only complete social acceptance and appreciation. Mass awareness is required about hidden disabilities and their hidden and tricky nature.
