This research seminar is the capstone class for economics majors at Assumption College. Students will research and write a paper on an economics topic of the student’s choice. The goals are to: Outcome #1: Develop an ability to retrieve existing economic information. Outcome #2: Develop an ability to use economic data in an appropriate fashion. Outcome #3: Develop an ability to use economic knowledge to critically analyze problems and their potential solutions. Outcome #4: Develop effective written and oral communication skills.
