This is a waste of time. AEthics enters into decisions where there are no other criteria. Thee are a very very few occasions where this is true for editors, and we already have an ethical guideline - WP:AGF - so we do not need another. And the vast majority of administrative acts are governed by ckear criteria that have there basis not on ethics but on what will lead to a better encyclopedia: delete vandalism, delete certain articles that meet certin criteria - where do ethics enter into these deisions, they are already guided by policy? 3RR blocks? practically automatic and I do not see any ethics issues. I started the section becauseyou raised the topic under a different heading, and I felt that if you wanted the issue discussed, it should be in a section with an appropriate heading. How about if 2RR applied only to blocks over a set duration of time, including indefinite blocks, instead of completely replacing WP:WHEEL? That could help to discourage administrators from blocking for excessive lengths of time. --Atomic blunder (talk) 20:53, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
