Analogies
[edit]Boyle's law assumes constant temperature. Political discussions tend to rise in temperature and volume as the pressure rises, more like an exothermic reaction than an ideal gas. Large volumes of toxic fumes tend to be emitted when catalysed by certain elements. When this happens in a confined space it can lead to explosions. People can be burned, both by the heat and the caustic emissions. This is an occupational hazard for those who try to clean up the mess. I will try to curb my flights of hyperbole now and go do something productive but boring. Cheers, · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 07:13, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
