Zaton (Nin)
Zaton is a settlement in the Nin municipality.
History
[edit]During the Roman rule of this area, Zaton was a significant port of nearby Nin (Aenon) in the eastern Adriatic, whose remains have been excavated for years in archaeological and hydroarchaeological research.
The place of Zaton is mentioned by Petar Zoranić in his famous work "Mountains".
