Unsourced material
[edit]The following is unsourced information:
- Alliance High School's sports teams are called the Aviators. Former National Football League player Len Dawson attended Alliance High School and played for the Aviators.
- Alliance-area tornado activity is historically 18% greater than the overall U.S. average.
- Alliance was designated a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation.
While this is interesting, we can't use it unless you provide a source. Also, none of this is really trivia, as trivia by its definition is "unimportant information" - it therefore shouldn't be in a trivia section but instead the information should be incorporated into the main article. - Tbsdy lives (talk) 04:57, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
The carnation city?

There is no verifiable evidence that Yuri Lowenthal is from Alliance, Ohio. User:WilliamJE, while comparing my edits to that of a child sex offender, has repeatedly accused me of pointy edits to ask for a simple verifiable reference that he is from Alliance, Ohio. Instead of fixing the problem, WilliamJE perpetuates a myth that these articles are owned by a mini-brigade of "people who know better". Could someone please either reference Lowenthal here, or at the target article, or better still, both, instead of kowtowing to this particular user's proclivity to accuse admins of behaving like child sex offenders.
