In the second paragraph, there is a reference to the old red, green, and black flag being used by groups opposed to the Taliban. Said groups are referred to as resistance groups. However, as you might already know, it is not called "resistance" when you are fighting on behalf and with the help of a foreign invader (America). The phrase "resistance groups" should be changed to "opposition groups."
"In contrast, the tricolor flag of the internationally recognized Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, still in use internationally and by internal resistance groups, consists of..." Inkscape Salafi (talk) 11:20, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
- Not done: They were a resistance fighter group, not an opposition. The changes sounds like a WP:NPOV issue. Cowboygilbert - (talk) ♥ 03:02, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
I have a question
[edit]Is the shahada on the Taliban flag in Arabic or Pashto or Dari? 2600:1008:B07F:AF41:29D5:956A:4130:D171 (talk) 13:30, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
- It says Pashto on the infobox. Cowboygilbert - (talk) ♥ 03:00, 22 September 2024 (UTC)

Please set to "none" as short description, unlike other flag articles that are intentionally blank. 36.66.130.147 (talk) 10:17, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- Done I'm not sure of the point of intentionally blank short descriptions, but you're right in that every other flag article I checked had it set that way, so I changed this one as well. DrOrinScrivello (talk) 19:25, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
