Notability
[edit]Maybe somehow incorporate the article into the Small Teen, Bigger World, as there seems to be a lack of notability -- Saksapoiss (talk) 23:44, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- Seems it has already been merged to the Small Teen, Bigger World and the current article provides no improvement upon the article for the series, therefore, the article should be deleted. -- Saksapoiss (talk) 23:52, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hi,
- Thank you for your comments.
- The article will be improved shortly and will have more information than that in the article Small Teen, Bigger World. Most of the missing information is in her book which we are still waiting for and will be incorporated into the article.
- As for notability, I believe Jasmine Beckitt has been unfairly labelled by tabloid newspapes as a "Reality TV Star". which is far from the truth. In the forword to her book, she is described as a "model for young and disabled people", in other words, she is a champion for disabled people. That in itself makes her notable. Since 2021, she and her fiance and their dog had been living in a Bell tent in Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire, North Wales and this is where she commited suicide.
- We are reluctant to add further information to the article until we have verified its authenticity.
- Please reconsider proposal for deletion to give us an opportunity to improve the article. Andymcteddybear (talk) 11:09, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
- Being a "champion for disabled people" by itself does not make her notable by Wikipedia's criteria unless there are multiple third-party reliable sources calling her that. Her own book is not third-party source. ... discospinster talk 23:28, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Andymcteddybear: Who is the "we" and "us" that you speak of? Are you just using the old-fashioned authorial "we"? One Wikipedia editor name represents one person, and that one person takes sole responsibility for the edits made under that editor name. Are you editing on behalf of a group, organisation, etc?
