National Champion (proposed deletion)
[edit]Assuming that Ryan Palmer is a national champion, for this reason only, this article should not be deleted. It would be helpful if the article was expanded. Andy4226uk (talk) 15:38, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Ryan Palmer → Ryan Palmer (teacher) — Move this page so the page at Ryan Palmer (golfer) can be moved here. Palmer the golfer is a much more likely topic that readers would be interested in than Palmer the teacher/chess player. Catchpole (talk) 21:40, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
- Agree, but suggest alternative:, the golfer is clearly the more prominent of the two, but as this Ryan Palmer is only notable as a chess player, I would suggest Ryan Palmer (chess player) might be more appropriate. HrafnTalkStalk(P) 04:51, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
- I agree that "chess player" is better. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 06:11, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
- Agree. Needs to be 'chess player' - he may not be a teacher forever, but his chess achievements will remain. Brittle heaven (talk) 10:03, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
- Support move to Ryan Palmer (chess player) and move of Ryan Palmer (golfer) to Ryan Palmer per WP:PRIME. wjematherbigissue 12:29, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Sales statistics
[edit]I cannot find any sources to back up the claim that he has sold 7,777777 books worldwide and the claim strikes me as being ridiculously specific, and being all 7's makes it even more suspicious. Can anybody find sources to back it up. Iwilsonp (talk) 22:32, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
