COI tag talk page note
[edit]I've added a conflict of interest tag to this article. This signifies to readers that the article has been extensively edited by someone with a conflict of interest, and is likely to have bias, in the form of missing negative content, overemphasis on "positives", non-neutral language (all of which are violations of the WP:NPOV content policy), and is likely to have unsourced or poorly sourced content, in violation of the WP:VERIFY content policy. It is likely that the content promotes the subject of the article, in violation of the WP:PROMO policy. Independent editors need to review the article and correct it, and then may remove the tag. If you do so, please leave a note here. Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 03:42, 20 August 2017 (UTC)
- I've been editing this article for a long time now, basically since the start of the medical school. While I do notice the non stop edits to the faculty area, which is most likely from someone affiliated with the school, the article was mostly touched by me. I had to re add everything (categorizes were broken) and then from there merged some area's and fixed the faculty section. As such the tag was removed. Now it looks like a standard school of medicine page. Thanks. AlaskanNativeRU (talk) 16:06, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
- The "standard medical school" page in Wikipedia is a product of WP:BOOSTER. See WP:OTHERSHITEXISTS. And please see your talk page. Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 16:28, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
- Well that is one way to discourage an editor I guess. Everything was done in good faith. For you to slap a conflict of interest warning on me is laughable. Try to stay WP:Cool when editing, please. Let's try and improve the article together. AlaskanNativeRU (talk) 20:43, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
- It was not a warning, and it was a question. You already said "no". None of that changes the problems with content here. We discuss content here. Jytdog (talk) 05:12, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
