- < 7 days old; 2600+ character article; 171-character hook; hook facts cited and verified in German source; within policy. Even though "Militärlehenssystem" is literally translated as "military feudal system", I think a more accurate rendering in English would be "Ottoman military and provincial government". This could be wikilinked to State organisation of the Ottoman Empire#Provincial governance (civil administration). Similarly, I would recommend that "converted to Islam" is wikilinked to Religious conversion#Islam or Spread of Islam#Europe.
