Hi there! Aslanstatistic123, you are invited to The Co-op, a gathering place for editors where you can find mentors to help you build and improve Wikipedia. If you're looking for an editor who can help you out, please join us! I JethroBT (I'm a Co-op mentor)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from Syrian Kurdish–Islamist conflict (2013–present) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! ~ NottNott let's talk! contrib 13:22, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Kindly desist

[edit]

If you keep vandalising pages with your POV edits, I will report you and you will run the risk of getting blocked, first temporarily and then permanently. And spare us both the accusation that Wikipedia is some kind of a PKK support site, others of your ilk have tried and failed with that ludicrous angles. Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you.

User block notice - Three revert rule

[edit]
Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule, as you did at Adıyaman Province. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Mehmet Oz, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Warning

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --Kansas Bear (talk) 16:27, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Afsharid dynasty shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the topics of Kurds and Kurdistan, broadly construed. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Editor has never edited a talk page, including their own. After being blocked from a page on which they were edit warring, they commenced a mass removal of categories from Kurdish-related articles. I've block from article space to see if we can get their attention. No objection to any other admin lifting the block if you feel you've gotten through to this editor. —valereee (talk) 16:00, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 17:08, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@Semsûrî adds proviences that doesnt have Kurdish majority to Turkish Kurdistan category and do misinformation abaout etnic regions of Turkey. And i dont know how to use Wikpedia and my english is not good,i can do mistakes but everytime i do a edit i try to add source and this edits are everyone who lives in this region knows. For example Semsuri claims İn Malatya most of Alevis are Kurdish.Correcting this misinformations are not disruption he alo adds Turkish majority places in Kurdish settlements category.Aslanstatistic123 (talk) 16:57, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That's not sufficient. That's not how Wikipedia works. --Yamla (talk) 17:08, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Aslanstatistic123! Thanks for coming here. The place to settle content disputes is at article talk pages, such as Talk:Malatya Province. When you make a change that you believe is an improvement, go to the talk page, open a section, ping the person who reverted you, and explain why you believe the edit was an improvement. If you believe they've added something that is not correct, ask for their sources for the addition. But simply reverting their edits over and over isn't okay. Our policy requires that you not revert another editor more than three times, at the absolute maximum, and best-practices is to only revert once, then go to the talk page.
As you can imagine, the topic of Kurds and Kurdistan is extremely contentious here on Wikipedia. Newer editors and extremely contentious topics are a very bad combination. I would highly recommend that you edit in some non-contentious areas while you learn our policies (such as about edit-warring).
If you insist upon continuing to edit in Kurds/Kurdistan: Removing content with no explanation, as you did with those removals of categories, is likely to get you topic-banned from the entire subject of Kurds and Kurdistan. In contentious areas, it's best to go to the talk page first, open a section, explain your proposed changes, then circle back in a week to see if anyone has objected, and then if no one has, then make the changes. To work in contentious areas, you need to be extremely patient.
Do you understand all of that? —valereee (talk) 17:09, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

AS123, discuss what you did that got you blocked, why you now see that wasn't the way to handle it, and what you will do instead in the future. (Also FWIW, in English "demand" is seen as a bit rude. I don't know if one of your languages is French, but the English equivalent of 'demander' is 'to request'.) —valereee (talk) 19:58, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
