Montblanc wiki entry
I am all for unbiased factual entries, which means 90% of what is posted needs to be removed. I am a collector of Montblanc pens and have been for years, and I assure you that what is being spouted on the wiki is completely inaccurate, which is why I have been trying to change it. If you would like to get together on this and help me correct it to your satisfaction and mine, I am more than willing. Please contact me at flea77 at swbell dot net. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Flea77 (talk • contribs) 06:15, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for the invite, but I don't feel qualified to work on this article. Reverting infringements on Wikipedia policy is one thing, but as I know nothing of the subject, I'm not the right person to ask. Good luck! --Bonadea (talk) 12:14, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi Bonadea. I'm not sure he/she deserved a warning for the edit on the Mujahideen article. To me, it looked like they were trying to reword a passage that didn't make a whole lot of sense, and accidentally added their signature to the article. If you disagree that's fine, but I'd like you to have another look if you don't mind. Thanks, take care. --Bongwarrior (talk) 09:45, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

Bonadea. You edited a resource and external link from 429(cannabis culture). I was attemting to add a resource/external link due to a definitive history re 420 truths and myths and a history/time-line re marijuana. Some of the site may be promotional re celebrating April 20th 2008 but the pages I tried to highlight are extremely informative especially re 420 and does dispel myths i.e Pulp Fiction clocks ( only 420 in Pawnshop scene ). The Time-line/history are also very informative. Please can you re look. I made mistakes trying to input the link - it is http://www.fourtwentyday.com/history_pt_1.html ( -PT_2.html for cannabis history . If allowed can you input. Thanks Rocky —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rocky Green (talk • contribs) 18:01, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

I was wondering why you removed the link I posted. It's really informative about interest calculation even though it's on our website the article is not about selling our product.http://www.margill.com/Interest-calculation-White-paper.htm —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jurismedia (talk • contribs) 15:00, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well, you linked to the same site, which you are apparently affiliated with, in a number of articles. You should read the links provided in the messages on your talk page (incidentally, only the second message there was from me - the first poster forgot to sign his or her message) for more information about conflicts of interest, and the external links policy. Swedish translation help
Hey mate, I'm currently working on Tyler Rosenlund and he has either played or trialled with AIK of Sweden. Unfortunately, I am a native English speaker and have no idea what the Swedish sites are saying. I searched you up because you have a relatively well grasp of English and are a native Swedish speaker and I was wondering if you could help me out. There are 4 articles I would like translated, at least the information relating to Rosenlund. If you are not willing, any advice as to where to go would be beneficial. The sites are as follows:
http://www.svenskafans.com/fotboll/aik/artikel.asp?id=153300 - I assume his initial arrival at the club
http://www.svenskafans.com/fotboll/aik/artikel.asp?id=153149 - A game summary?
http://www.svenskafans.com/fotboll/aik/artikel.asp?id=153115 - Probably a not-so-helpful game play by play
http://www.svenskafans.com/fotboll/aik/artikel.asp?id=152012 - I assume his exit from the club
Any information you could gather from these articles would be great. Of course, your assistance in any way is greatly appreciated. — GauchoDude (talk) 02:44, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi Bonadea
Thanks for the response. I am beginner at Wikipedia, so had problems. Going forward will see to it that I don't modify the page-content. Well my intention was not marketing a service / product, it was just to make the users aware about the options available.
I will take care, that if I need to add an external link I do it in the "References Section"
Thanks,

Zecco Entry
On Social Networking Sites, I have posted a Zecco.com entry. Please do not remove link. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sabinspeiser (talk • contribs) 22:00, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- I believe you have received a reply about why the link is not appropriate, from somebody else. I should have posted to your talk page about that but was interrupted; sorry about that. In any case, before adding a site to List of social networking websites there has to be an article about the site first. (And of course the article must fulfil the notability requirements). --Bonadea (talk) 10:01, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Off -page optimisation Entry
Title should be Off -page optimization rather than Off -page optimisation. I had added a value able article link in the external link section from http://www.saraswatisoft.com/seo.htm that is quite informative to new users looking for information about SEO. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mike22222 (talk • contribs) 09:39, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- I didn't change the title, and have no particular opinion about whether to use British or American spelling for the article. The external link you added was inappropriate per the external links policy. Thank you. --Bonadea (talk) 10:03, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Locate (finance), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Locate. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 14:25, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- You are right, dear bot; Locate is a dab page where somebody had added a section that belonged in its own article rather than on the dab page. I moved the text to a new article, Locate (finance), and then removed it from Locate. So it's no longer duplicated content. (Boy, you are one speedy bot! :-) ) --Bonadea (talk) 14:29, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

- It would be nice if you actually read any of the many comments than have been placed on the talk pages of the various IPs you have used to vandalise User talk:Deltadog63, including the talk page of the IP you used to post the above comment. There is no "mistake"; what you keep doing is removing part of a discussion about a removed article. If you are in fact User:Deltadog63 you could log in and remove the discussion entirely, but you should not remove legitimate comments on other peoples' user talk pages, and you should never, ever remove part of somebody else's comment. That is vandalism and will always be reverted. Please take a moment to try and undersdtand what the discussion you keep removing parts of actually says. --Bonadea (talk) 07:50, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

He did infact remove all my edits which i think made the page very easy to read and i grouped shops together in a very good way. I am sorry taht i deleted his page, but i believe that he should also be reprimanded for remiving edits that he cannot comfirm are wrong and that are highly valid knowing that i have actaully read articles about Westfield and know much more about it. thankyou —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thfrang (talk • contribs) 07:09, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
- If you thought his changing your edits was wrong, you should have posted a polite message about it on his talk page. All of us who revert vandalism occasionally revert something by mistake, and it's easily fixed; no "reprimands" are needed, just some communication to find out what's going on. I also know that it hurts to be accused of vandalism when you didn't in fact knowingly do anything wrong, but responding with personal attacks and page blanking just isn't a good way of responding. In any case I see that you're now communicating directly with each other, so I'm probably talking to myself here :-) --Bonadea (talk) 08:04, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

For the record, I'm not an administrator, so I can neither delete pages nor block you. Also, my ego is not involved in this in either direction. If you read the information I've provided for you and make sure the article conforms to guidelines, it won't be deleted, and I won't be even a little hurt by that. Centennial High School
Regarding the slogan.
Centennial is a hybrid school, while they have textbooks for certain courses (ie Math), they do not have textbooks for all courses, and encourage students to find other ways to reach their learning goals. To help students acheive the desired result, Centennial has purchased over 200 computers. Administration felt that it would be best for the school if the students came up with the slogan, and it changes with each graduating class. "Where Textbooks Are Foreign Objects" is the school slogan for the graduating class of 2008.
Regarding the principal.
When I called the school and asked to speak to the principal, they redirected me to Darren Ostrander and explained that he was the acting principal. Apparently Diane Field is either on sick or stress leave.

Get a life!!!
Hi Bonadea--
Honestly... do you have any life whatsoever??? You keep removing an external link I have added, despite the fact that it is relevant and furthermore, is not for profit! If you actually bothered to follow the link you would see that it is linking to a number of graphic design projects that someone looking for graphic design might find quite interesting. And, for the web awards page... does the once monthly award we give to the most creative web designer somehow not qualify as a web award?? And did you bother to notice that the website is free, with no advertisements even?
Please, stop deleting my link. And get a life. You sit around editing other peoples wikipedia entries all day-- I'll bet that's perfect fodder for picking up dates, right? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.222.23.241 (talk) 10:55, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

- First - I didn't delete the page (I'm not an administrator), but I did tag it for deletion, and posted a note about it here. The important thing when creating an article is to establish notability, and provide verifiable third-part sources. Wikipedia:Your first article has some good information about what to think about. Also remember to avoid any conflict of interest. I see that your user name has been blocked, but in case you return with a neutral user name, please keep these things in mind. Re: Vandalism
"I'm sorry, but that doesn't make vandalism OK. Are you trying to prove that Wikipedia isn't trustworthy? You would find it extremely easy to find instances of vandalism to show your teacher, without making the problem worse for those who have to fix it afterwards. Just click the Recent changes list. Or are you showing how easy it is to edit, in general? If so, please make a constructive contribution instead. If you do make any more vandal edits, you risk getting blocked, regardless of why you made them. Thank you. --Bonadea (talk) 07:22, 20 May 2008 (UTC)"
- The opposite, I'm trying to show that wikipedia can be trusted as a general information source. The general idea was that I would make a series of increasingly smaller, less noticeable edits, and time how long it is before any changes are reverted. Your response time alone is at least part of the proof needed. I guess I'll attempt to find another way to go about it. Bananawithjoy (talk) 07:30, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

- No, your user page vandalism and personal attacks on other editors are not "perfectly justified". You (and I and all other editors) must stay civil, and I'm sorry, but you have repeatedly failed to do so. When somebody makes personal attacks, it is far from "frivolous" to claim that she or he is vandalising, and warn her or him against doing so again. --Bonadea (talk) 12:45, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Why did you delete my IBN PM entry. The article was mainly about Professional Services methodology. And I am new to wiki and I don't understand how this entry is any different than other entries like @task or basecamp. If anything, my entry was the least advertising-oriented. Please help me try to understand. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Revelation8 (talk • contribs) 17:04, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
- First, I didn't actually remove the article. Only an administrator can do that. What I did was putting a tag on the page to bring it to the attention of the administrators. As for why I did it: there was nothing in the article that showed why the product was notable, and it did contain promotional verbiage. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for promotion of businesses and products. The part about methodology was not advertising and was sufficiently sourced, but the part of the article that was actually about the product was not sourced - and since the product was the subject of the article, there was not sufficient reason to keep it. Both the other articles you cite, AtTask and Basecamp (software), include references to third-party sources that have written about the product. Finally, another editor (Truthbro), created several inappropriate articles about Mediachase products a few days ago, and also included inappropriate external links to the company, which made it look as if the company was trying to spam Wikipedia with inappropriate articles and links.
- Please make sure that you read the information linked from the various notices on your talk page, because I believe that may help you understand the policies involved. Thank you! --Bonadea (talk) 05:49, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Mahi-mahi Misspelling
Aloha e:
Are you able to change the title of the Mahi-mahi page from what it currently is to the proper Hawai'ian spelling of Mahimahi?
I have changed the article to reflect the proper spelling, but can't get the main heading to change.
I am Hawai'ian and know that Mahimahi is the proper native spelling of this word and it is commonly; more often than not, misspelled.
If you could help, that would be great.
Much mahalo (many thanks);
Kawika Kolomona Kamakeeaina
- Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia! I think it would be a good idea to present the propsed change on the article's talk page, and give it a couple of days to allow people to react to it. At the moment, there is a redirect in place from the spelling Mahimahi so it is not as if people will not find the article using that spelling. Also, while I don't doubt that you are right about this (as you say, you are in a much better position to know :-) ), there has to be a verifiable external source for the spelling. --Bonadea (talk) 15:48, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

Once this is accomplished we can work through what articles could be started in their own right if there is enough info avilabale. You are out of order yourself sir
In response to your messgae to me, I feel it necessary to point out some mistakes you made in your assumptions.
1. I made a typo when I first changed an external link. When I corrected it I set the summary to 'fixed link' or similar, which was true. Hardly extremely inappropriate as you called it, I shall consider it harassment if you treat me in this manner again.
2. An impartial person may well consider a draft DRM charter to be a relevant subject to link to from a DRM article on wiki. Your assumption that the DRM charter is innapropriate to the subject of DRM is questionable and may indicate bias on the subject of DRM.
3. I know that excternal links do not alter search engine rankings. In no way do I need to use wiki to promote my articles, I was on apge one of the google search results within hours of posting. For you to insult me by alledging 'advertising or promotion' is out of order, when it is blatently not. I was simply linking a related wiki to further reading on the subject.
Frankly sir, you owe me an apology for your harsh tone ane incorrect allegations. I suspect you are not impartial on the subject of DRM and as such should not be censoring other peoples contributions on the subject.
Jack

It is also extremely inappropriate to give false information in the edit summary as you did. --Bonadea (talk) 09:59, 22 June 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Talkjack (talk • contribs) 19:28, June 22, 2008 (UTC)
- No need for name-calling, surely. The edit history is there for all to see: in your very first Wikipedia edit you added a link which was not there previously, with the edit summary "fixed link". (The link had previously been added by an anonymous IP, which was probably you, but it was removed a couple of hours before you added it again.) As for false assumptions, you do me too much credit by assuming that I know the first thing about DRM :-) I do know a thing or two about inappropriate links and Wikipedia spam, and I still believe that the link is inappropriate for Wikipedia as per WP:EL; but since you disagree, the most constructive thing for you to do is to discuss it on the article's talk page. Cheers. --Bonadea (talk) 19:50, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
Understood. When I first previewed my edit it displayed incorrectly as " [6] "which was obviosuly wrong. I went back and amended it to display correctly. There was certainly no deception intended on my part when I changed the summary from 'external links' to 'fixed link' after correcting my initial typo. I thought the DRM article would benefit from an small expansion on the use of DRM in PC games, which it is lacking at present. To that end I wrote a draft a paragraph on the subject on Sunday afternoon with the intention of submitting it, but was dismayed when I logged in Sunday evening and read your comments which came across as an accusation of deliberate abuse of wiki for the purpose of self promotion. This was never my intent, nor has it been on previous occasions when I have submitted content on a variety of technical subjects over the last few years. I apologise for writing back to you in the heat of the moment when more consideration of my words would have been appropriate. Talkjack (talk) 08:27, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
Hi, Bonadea. Looking at Definition in this article, I see a mess which appears to have arisen during an edit of yours. Please check it out. As a non-expert in WP codes, I'm not game to tackle a system of referencing which is beyond my ken. Let me know what you think. Cheers Bjenks (talk) 13:49, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

UnderDog's "Link"Letters
Hi, I'm responding to your justified critisism on my first page edit about "Search Engines". I had brought down a link tied to a company that I don't work for. My talents, if any are not in the realm of computer science or the usage therof. I was born in the dark ages of 1953.In the 60's we often saw cartoons where 2 lab men with glasses and white coats stood next to a monolithic sized super-computer that was anything but personal.I learned how to turn on a p.c. 8 years ago after I'd convinced my children within 3 years that an old dog can still learn one or two tricks. But still I'm an old dog, and there are limits! Though I speak 2 languages on an equal footing, my p.c. language skills are zero. I have just learned that a URL is a URL, so here is what my theme is : yes I accept your pointing out to me not to bring down links for wikipedia from commercial sources. I just copied the link. Sorry! Old dogs can't always learn the new tricks, but when the top-dog says "watch your step Fido", I roll over on my back in submission . Yours, "Under-Dog" (ZeeknayTzfat) Fri. Sambalpuri Region
Hej!
Thanks for the information & advice. Probably, I was aware of the 3r-Rule but selected to ignore. Anyways, Thanks for reminding. Already requested for page protection.
Really nice to have someone half a globe away following a page having definite regional ramifications & implications with the zeal of a localite. Of course, I can gauge your deep interest in regional geography from your creation of a handful of articles about several Swedish towns/counties. Nice Work!. Pl do keep it up.
Also that, I'v started a page named Morphemes in Oriya with quality nearing to stub level. As a linguist, your suggestions/advices/comments and modifications/edits are solicited.
Tack så mycket.--Pdipu (talk) 10:55, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
Thanks for the advice.I created this article a year back to put forth various aspects of sambalpuri culture which is also called as Kosali culture, but my years of hard work and research on sambalpuri culture is being repeatedly vandalised by an user called Pdipu without any proof. He didnot contributed a single word to my article, each and every word is work of mine.but still I wonder why you are advising me to stick to the name give by him.Sambalpuri-Kosali culture should be the perfect name of this article and I request you to please check arrogant users who doesnt want to accept the facts about sambalpuri culture.I have given many references in my article to proof it's authenticity but you choose to ignore those when user Pdipu is repeatedly undoing my work..Thanks again for letting me know about the rules..but let's hope it should be applied in the right direction.

web mail comparison
Wow! I had no idea that after making a wikipedia someone would so quickly get involved to help us make a great article. I've invited a forum community to start helping fill out the page, and haven't provided my own content yet in order to not taint the process.
Would you like to work with me to make sure this is a great article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Roland.k.a (talk • contribs) 08:14, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
- Responding on your talk page. --Bonadea (talk) 08:30, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
Unsolved problems in philosophy.
My change wasn't vandalism. The example provided was unclear. If 2+2=5, it isn't clear that 1+1=2. It may in fact be the case, but the ambiguity detracts from the explanation of a material implication. The comment that followed highlighted this, pointing out that there was the additional problem in the example of a counterfactual conditional. Material implication doesn't require counterfactuals to be a problem, and so I removed that aspect of the explanation.
My other changes were to clean up the syntax. the paranthetical towards the end of the section was sloppy. --Carleas (talk) 16:50, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
Hello,
As regards to your first doubt, there is no generally prevalent concept in Orissa of a ‘Sambalpuri region’. Culturally speaking, only districts of Sambalpur and Balangir are proximate. All other districts viz. Kalahandi, Sundargarh, Koraput, Dhenkanal and Phulbani districts, claimed in the article to be a part of the ‘Sambalpuri region’, are culturally distant and heterogeneous, have dialects different from Sambalpuri, and which are closer to standard Oriya language. There is absolutely no uniformity: cultural, linguistic, traditional whatsoever, between the districts of Kalahandi, Sundargarh, Koraput, Dhenkanal and Phulbani on one side with that of Sambalpur & Balangir on the other. As you can see for yourself, even the primary author of the article lists cultural motifs like Sambalpuri Saree, sambalpuri dialect, Sambalpuri festivals, Sambalpuri dance (Like Karma), Sambalpuri songs-Rangbati, Sambalpuri structures (Hirakud), which are all related to Sambalpur district only, and not the other districts which have been artificially argued to be forming part of Sambalpuri region/culture. That’s simply because there are no uniformities and commonalities at all!
As regards to the ‘Koshal Kranti Dal’ party, that exists only on paper and has not been a real movement yet. It’s a miniscule microscopic minority.
Further, as per to your suggestion about an article on Koshal State, that may not be feasible as there is no real lebensraum of this notional state.
Thank you.

Sambalpuri
First of all let me clear the whole thing that User Softdynamite and User Pdipu are the same person who are trying to delete the article created by me called sambalpuri region.i suspect this is one person with two different name, because softdynamite profile was created few week back and he started vandalising my article as soon has his profile got created.Let me clear something here..Sambalpuri is a term generally used to Identify people of Western part of Orissa called Kosal region. The language spoken by 10 district of western orissa alias Kosal region is sambalpuri and not oriya.I have given references in my article also. The source of the reference about the sambalpuri language is parliament of India,Where a Member of Parliament has raised a question to include sambalpuri under the 8th scheduled of India constitution which recognises Indian languages.Like language all festivals and traditions are also altogether different from Oriya. But People from coastal part of orissa to which I am sure Pdipu and softdynamite belongs doesnot accept this fact.western orissa alias kosal region is India's poorest region, this claim can be supported by enough article on net regardng this.Still after 60 years of Independence people are dying of hunger ..but for coastal orissa people who dominates orissa state politics ,People of western orissa are second citizen.Due to this mentally here also user Pdipu and Softdynamite are trying to supress the fact like they do in the orissa state. Please send me you personal mail id:- I will provide you enormous documents even government document which will prove sambalpuri is separate language and culture.I want to clear another thing.Sambalpur is the name of a district of western orissa, whereas sambalpuri refers to the custom, traditon and language followed by 10 district of western orissa alias kosal region..Let's wikipedia do the justice....Let's truth prevails...Thank you..>talk) —Preceding comment was added at 15:26, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
more on sambalpuri
I also wanted to clear some confusion of softdynamite.First of all sambalpuri saree is made in Barpali in Bargarh district, patnagarh in Balangir district and sonepur in subarnapur district. All these places doesnot belongs to sambalpur district but still the handloom is called sambalpuri saree..So here softdynamite has tried to misguide everyone by false Information.Second thing he has mentioned about Karma dance which is performed by a particular community of Balangir and Sundergarh district.Again he has provided wrong Information.Regarding sambalpuri song Rangabati,It was composed by Ramesh Kumar mahanand of Bargarh district and it was sung by Jitendra haripal of Sambalpur district and Krishna Patel of Bargarh district. But Mr.Softdynamite has again misguides us with wrong Information.Regarding structure Hirakud dam it covers 4 district of western Orissa namely sambalpur,Bargarh, jharsuguda and sundergarh...If I am wrong than you can go through any websites on western orissa like koshalbasi.com,navratnanews.com etc....So on a whole user softdynamite and user pdipu are on a mission to suprress the identity of kosali alias sambalpuri people by deleting this article...My humble request is to please block these kind of users who are giving false information to justify their points... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Satyajit Nayak (talk • contribs) 15:44, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Messages to me regarding Agnetha F
Please do not refer to my corrections to this page as poorly researched and incorrect.
They are not!
It is you who are putting spin on the real facts behind this information.

- As you know, I never claimed the information was incorrect - it may or may not be correct. I have pointed out, repeatedly, that there are no sources for it, and you would be well adviced to check out the policy regarding articles about living persons. Find a source for the information and nobody will stop you from adding it, but unless you do, it will be removed if it is inserted again. --Bonadea (talk) 11:07, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for your reply which I have read carefully.
I will place sources for the information and after that I do not expect it to be reverted!
I note from this discussion page that this is not the first time you have been called to task on the tone of your messages to others and your judge and jury stance.
There is much in your writing that is conjecture (although it has a source) which appears to contradict what you are accusing others of.
Thank you for your time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.37.193.217 (talk) 11:30, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
