Today News Africa moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Today News Africa, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Hariana Veras Victoria requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Heya! I just wanted to leave you a note about one of our policies here: Wikipedia doesn't tolerate personal attacks. I don't mean to accuse you of anything here, but your edit summary on this diff may have gotten a little close, particularly in saying I doubt the ability of the person who declined the submission. and It seemed to me to be racism anyway.. My advice here is to just be considerate and careful in what you say in this community, as things can be interpreted many ways online. Also, be mindful that AfC reviewers are typically very well-versed in most of our policies and guidelines, so make sure you read the links and comments provided by reviewers before publicly doubting their judgement. (On a side note on the same draft, keep in mind that the New York Post is considered unreliable and shouldn't be cited.) Phew, that was a lot; if you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask over at the Teahouse or on my talk page. Happy editing! Bsoyka (talk) 05:02, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Thewashingtonimmigrant, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Thewashingtonimmigrant|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. "If this publication quoted around the world cannot be on Wikipedia, I really wonder which one can be there."

[edit]

There is an answer to your question: WP:Notability. No number of quotes can overcome this, because no article can be written without sources actually talking about the subject. Dege31 (talk) 18:58, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
