Nine Nation

The upcoming tenth season of Big Brother (stylized as Big Brother: Xtreme) is set to premiere on SSG TV. It is set to run for 100 days and featured 24 housemates. This season is officially marked as the first incarnation of the series after Nine Nation was abruptly canceled; still, the season is expected to use the previous season's format that was first used on Seven Up.

Development

[edit]

After it was announced that the first house was demolished after Big Brother: Nine Nation finished, the new house, located at Lawaan, Roxas City, was immediately assembled, as the network had green-lit the show's tenth season due to demand from fans, viewers, and aspiring auditionees.

Auditions

[edit]

Auditions were opened to former OLGAnian Big Brother and new housemates, aged 18 and up who have lived in the province of Capiz for at least six years. Major changes made due to undisclosed reasons by the show.

Twists

[edit]
  • Mass Nominations: On launch night, Big Brother revealed that all twenty-four individuals entering the house were labeled as 'houseguests,' though they were actually considered official housemates. During the first week, four safety competitions will determine the first eight official housemates, while the remaining sixteen will face eviction to finalize the cast of twenty-two.
  • Secret House: Set to take place in Week 2, the house will be divided into two sections: the main house and a secret house. The official housemates will reside in the main house, while those in the secret house will have a hidden advantage of observing the main housemates' lives. However, there is a catch: secret house residents will be at risk of elimination. During this twist, housemates will continue to nominate regularly, but the public will vote to send individuals to the secret house, making these evictions technically fake. To return to the main house, those in the secret house must complete specific challenges and tasks. Furthermore, any discussion of the twist with the main housemates will result in punishment or, in severe cases, ejection.

Housemates

[edit]

Nominees may participate in safety challenges to secure their spot and avoid eviction. In the first week, these challenges determined the first eight official housemates, with six housemates competing in each of the four challenges.
